Therapy for women who want more from life
In-Person in Happy Valley and Online throughout Oregon
Anxiety comes on out of nowhere.
Suddenly, you are flooded with painful memories.
You’ve done your best to suppress and avoid these emotions as much as possible.
But they are always waiting just below the surface, ready to be triggered at any moment.
When it strikes, it feels like your world is ending.
At once, you can’t breathe, and your heart races.
You collapse to the floor in tears, terrified that you’ll be stuck like this forever.
It’s difficult to put into words the overwhelming sense of dread that you feel.
No one seems to understand what you’re going through.
People have noticed a change in you, but you’re unsure how to explain it.
When your attempts to reach out fail, it only drives you further into isolation.
“Just breathe,” they advise. But it’s not that easy.
Trying to fix the problem is easier said than done.
You have tried to do it on your own. Maybe even avoided going out, not thinking about things, or talking to people.
When you do talk to people, they don’t quite understand.
You are only feeling worse – lashing out at others emotionally, maybe using more substance, or even having reached the point of physically violent outbursts.
What you’ve tried is not effective.
Something has to change.
You feel constant worry, so much that it’s interfering with your work, daily activities, relationships, or other segments of your life.
Your worry, anxiety, and fearfulness are distressing you and challenging to control, making you feel depressed, discouraged, and miserable.
Your worries, anxiety, and depression may not go away on their own. They may get worse over time if you do not seek professional assistance.
There is a way forward.
It’s time to heal the wounds that have been festering for too long.
Therapy can get you back to living the life you want.
Dealing with these issues is not easy, but I promise we can get through it together.
Hi, I’m Agatha.
I see you, I get it, and I want to help. So glad to have you here!
I grew up in Nigeria in a culture where trauma was seen as part of life. I understand not wanting help because you feel ashamed to ask for it or tell yourself that others have it worse. You matter!
It is okay to ask for help. Healing is an individual journey not compared to anyone but yourself.
I can help you imagine worry-free, less dark, and more peaceful days.
In therapy with me, you can feel openness and understanding without fear of being judged.
My goal is for you to feel you can be your authentic self as we work toward a place of healing and growth.
What I Offer
Don’t let past wounds keep you from
living the life you deserve.
It’s possible to move forward into the future
with joy, enthusiasm, and confidence.
