Anxiety and PTSD

Can’t silence the worry?

It’s 1:00 am, and your brain is alert. You are tired of being consumed with thoughts and endless unwanted memories that won’t shut off. Trying to block it out is tiring, but it keeps popping up. At times you feel intense distress that’s difficult to explain to others.

You lose interest or pleasure in activities that make you happy. You’ve suffered from sleep deprivation. You’ve experience difficulties concentrating or thinking about anything other than the present worry.

Anxiety makes you feel stuck, depriving you of the life you want. Worry and apprehension are your constant companions.

A life without anxiety can be liberating.

Imagine waking up in the morning, feeling at peace with who you are, and being confident in your abilities. That feeling allows you to look forward to the day ahead without worrying and exhausting your mind with endless thoughts.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful to be present at the moment during conversations with friends and loved ones?

It is possible to have a daily life without worrying constantly.

You can gain control or get rid of the tightness in the chest, breathing rapidly (hyperventilation), upset stomach, restlessness, and sleep deprivation.

Our work together can help you handle your anxiety.

We will focus on psychological responses to anxiety when working together. This approach looks different for each person, but by helping you understand what happens in your body, you will be aware of your anxiety ahead of time, allowing you to control and better manage it.

This technique will involve some mindfulness practice, part of cognitive behavior therapy. This approach helps you change how you think or behave during anxiety.

It is possible to silence the worry! Whether you are experiencing anxiety or PTSD, I can help.
